4 ways to remember to drink water.

4 ways to remember to drink water.

We all know we feel better when we are healthy, and part of this is drinking enough water.

Did you know the first and most important aspect for optimal health is proper hydration? and being well hydrated, with the right water, (as not all water is created equal) is vital for our health.

With the busy lives we lead it’s difficult to have to remember to drink water and it can become one more thing to put on your never ending to do list.

So, here’s where I make your life easier and help you to remember.

  1. Use technology to your advantage, you can get apps for your phone to remind you to drink, there are lots out there but I prefer one called My Water & Drink Reminder, it’s free to download, you can set reminders for yourself and add your water intake to it to keep on track.
  2. Don’t want another app on your phone? I get it, but you can still use technology to your advantage and set up reminders on your phone or laptop calendar to give you a nudge to have a glass of water.
  3. Not a fan of technology? Don’t panic, a good old fashioned tick sheet works just as well. I have a simple PDF that you can download and print off to use day to day. If you want to get fancy you can laminate it and make it reusable too! If you want a copy of my tick sheet, get in touch and I can email it to you.
  4. If you would rather see where you are at with your water intake then grab a bottle already marked so you can see at a glance how much you have had in a day. Alternatively mark an existing bottle and put your own marks on it to keep you on the train to hydration station.

If you have other ideas on how to track or encourage yourself to drink during the day I’d love to hear them!
