👉 Plastic can only be recycled 1-3 times as the quality of the plastic decreases every time it’s recycled.
Only a third of Australia's plastic packaging waste gets recycled. Some plastics can’t be recycled, others end up in landfill, our natural environment and oceans.
Recycling plays an important role, but we need to be better educated about recycling and shift our mentality towards reducing single-use first and foremost.
