Hubby and I got some hot chips (yum!) and I bought the wooden spoons home so I could compost them 🤎
I wouldn’t normally use wooden spoons as I always use my fingers.
Did you know that disposable wooden utensils can be composted in both home composting and commercial composting systems.
If you put disposable wooden spoons in a landfill bin they will still decompose but will take longer depending on the landfill conditions. It’s said it can range from a few weeks to a few decades.
Wooden utensils are better than plastic ones đź‘Ź for me using my fingers or bringing a reusable fork is even better.
