Are Long Life Milk Cartons Recyclable?

Are Long Life Milk Cartons Recyclable?

Yes they are, for most Australians. The cartons are not accepted by all councils so check with your council to see if they recycle them. A big thanks to Planet Ark for the link 👏

On the brand I use it says on the cartoon ‘Recycle - Check Locally’

If your local council don’t recycle them, check if your local Container Deposit Scheme takes them.

If you are on the Sunshine Coast like me, both Sunshine Coast Council and Noosa Council do recycle them ♻️

Recycling is a massive subject, one that isn’t black and white, there are a lot of grey areas. Recycling plays an important role, but we need to be better educated about recycling and shift our mentality towards reducing packaging and single-use first and foremost.

If you want to reduce packaging then check out the amazing Ulu Hye and make your own plant based nut milk 🥜🥛🌱
